Meth lab suspect waives prelim hearing
One man involved in a New Year’s Eve meth lab fire in Ironwood was in Gogebic County District Court Wednesday.
34-year-old Justin Farrisar waived his right to a preliminary hearing and was bound over to Gogebic County Circuit Court. No new court date has been set.
Farrisar and 27-year-old Tammy Rae Korpela were charged with five, 20 year felonies. Those felonies include Operating a Meth Lab in the Presence of a Minor and Operating a Meth Lab Near a School or Church.
The active meth lab run by Farrisar and Korpela started a fire at 131 South Mansfield Street in Ironwood on December 31, 2012.
