Fugitive arraigned in Houghton Co.
A fugitive from Calumet on the run since Thanksgiving is now in custody.
Christina Gagnon, 32, was arraigned last week in Houghton County District Court. Michigan State Police from the Calumet post say she and her 11–year–old son were found in Illinois.
Gagnon was arrested for parental kidnapping.
The search for the woman and the boy began in November when police came to question her in an investigation into the writing of several bad checks. Another suspect- Raymond Ojala, Jr., of Hubbell– turned himself in in January.
