Meeting April 9 to discuss M-35 Menominee project

The Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) will share construction plans April 9 for M-35 in the city of Menominee, scheduled for the 2013 construction season. Residents and business owners can review the plans for construction, as well as detour route information, at this public meeting.

MDOT is reconstructing about 1 mile of M-35 in Menominee, from the US-41 intersection to 48th Avenue. The work is scheduled to begin in April and be completed in October. This project will require a closure to through-traffic and a detour on city streets.

MDOT Crystal Falls Transportation Service Center (TSC) staff will speak with interested residents and business owners  Tuesday, April 9, at 5 p.m.  The meeting will take place at the Spies Public Library (940 1st Street, Menominee)

People who need special accommodations can contact MDOT at 906-875-6644 for assistance and information.
