Design the Ore to Shore T-shirt
A central U.P. outdoor sports fixture wants to show off the creativity of a local person or group to more than 2,500 people this summer.
The Marquette General Health System Ore to Shore Mountain Bike Epic is holding a contest to design this year’s race T-shirt.
The winner will have to highlight the idea that the race begins in Negaunee, where iron ore was first found in the area, and ends at Lake Superior.
The fact that this is the race’s 14th year also needs to be included in the design.
The winner receives an undisclosed cash prize, copyright for their graphic and a booth at the Friday-night race expo.
This year’s Ore to Shore will take place on August 10th, but the design contest entry deadline is May 1st.
