Wrestling removed from Olympic games

The International Olympic Committee has dropped one its most popular Olympic sports.

Wrestling will no longer be a part of the Olympic games come 2020. The IOC has 25 different sports in the summer Olympics.

Wrestling has been a part of the Olympics since the inaugural games back in 1896. Both Greco-Roman and Freestyle Wrestling are being cut from the 2020 games.

Golf and rugby have been added to the upcoming 2016 games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The last time the IOC voted a sport out of the Olympics was back in 2005, when both baseball and softball were pulled from the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
