Bomb threat in Menominee

A juvenile is in police custody in Menominee County in connection with a bomb threat this week at Menominee Junior High School.

The Menominee City police department says the written threat was discovered at 1:41 p.m. Tuesday in a classroom during sixth hour.  Officers interviewed students and staff, and searched the school.

No explosives were found.

The Menominee County Sheriff’s Department assisted at the scene.

The boy was taken in to custody on Wednesday.
