MTU Winter Carnival snow statues
It’s not fun to scoop, but when sculpted into remarkable shapes, the Michigan Tech Winter Carnival snow statues are a wonder to behold.
Only 24 hours ago, these statues didn’t look anything like they do now.
Phi Kappa Tau took first place for the sixth year in a row in the month-long Fraternities category with a scene from Pixar’s “The Incredibles”.
The ladies of Alpha Sigma Tau won the month-long Sororities category with Hercules versus the Hydra.
Summit & Women In Engineering topped the rest of the Residence Halls with their Batman–themed statue.
Air Force ROTC finished first among Student Organizations.
Winter Carnival events continue through Saturday.
