Two people arraigned in connection with robbery
Two people have been arraigned in Delta County in connection with a robbery on January 20.
The pair was in 94th District Court in Escanaba today for their part in the armed robbery of the Admiral Gas Station in Escanaba on Sunday.
Marc Allen Grove is in the Delta County Jail on a$52,000 bond. He is being charged with one count of armed robbery and one count of controlled substance, possession of analogs.
Courtney Marie Gartland has a $10,000 dollar bond. She is charged with lying to a police officer.
Charges for a third suspect have not yet been authorized.
According to Escanaba Public Safety, a masked man entered the Admiral Gas Station brandishing a large knife and demanded money. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the subject fled on food. A K-9 unit tracked the suspect to a home on the north side of Escanaba, where three people were arrested.
Grove and gartland have a preliminary trial set for January 31.
