A serious two vehicle accident in Marquette County sent one person to the hospital. It happened on U.S. 41, near the intersection of County Road CJ just west of Ishpeming around noon on Wednesday.
The accident happened in front of Juntti’s Towing Service. It involved a Dodge Dakota pick-up truck and a Ford Taurus. The incident caused major damage to both vehicles.
At least one person was taken to Bell Hospital for treatment of injuries.
Two animals were ejected from one of the vehicles: one survived, one did not.
The Michigan State Police, Bell Hospital EMS, Juntti’s Towing and other organizations assisted at the scene.
