Inmate Death Investigation
The Michigan State Police and the Michigan Department of Corrections are continuing to investigate the death of an inmate over the weekend.
Troopers from the Wakefield Post say the inmate was reportedly attacked at the Ojibway Correctional Facility in Marenisco on Friday.
He died from his injuries at a hospital on Saturday.
Troopers tell ABC 10 that the victim’s name has not been, and will not be, officially released until they have notified the man’s next of kin.
