MGH responds to safety concerns
Marquette General Hospital has released the following statement in response to the recent safety concerns brought up by the MGH nursing staff:
“Marquette General Hospital is working closely with law enforcement officials on the incident that took place Saturday, January 5, at our Emergency Department. A safe hospital environment for our patients and employees is a top priority at MGH, and we will be using the Saturday incident as a means of examining options for further strengthening safety procedures and policies.”
A registered nurse at the hospital issued a statement last night saying MGH’s nursing staff has requested a meeting with administrators to address security issues.
