Red Kettle Campaign ends Wednesday

You can still donate to the Salvation Army even though bell ringers and red kettles are no longer in front of stores.

In Marquette County, the Red Kettle Campaign came up $15,000 short of its of  $100,000 goal.  The campaign ended in December, but there is still time to make a contribution.  Donations will be accepted through January 9, 2012 and added to the total for the campaign.

Funds raised in the Red Kettle Campaign stay in the community where they are collected.  The Salvation Army uses the money to support programs, including the food pantry, rent, prescription and utility assistance programs.
