Marquette General Wig Salon

The Wig Salon at Marquette General Hospital is looking for volunteers to help cancer patients.

Over the course of a year, the Wig Salon serves about a hundred people.

These patients have lost their hair due to illness or treatment of a disease.

Karol Pokley, director of the MGH Volunteer Services office, says they’re looking for stylists to help patients find a wig for them.

The wigs are free of charge to patients, and volunteers are rewarded knowing they’ve helped better someone’s life.

If you’d like to donate your time to the salon, you can contact the Volunteer Services office at MGH.
