Christmas is over, but that doesn’t mean that the shopping rush has died down. Retailers across Upper Michigan are expecting high numbers of post holiday shoppers the rest of the week.
At Best Buy in Marquette Township, there has been a steady stream of customers since the store opened this morning. And the increased numbers of shoppers is expected to continue.
This is the third holiday season this Best Buy has been open. Each year, the store has seen more customers shopping for the hottest new gadget.
Store personnel say they saw an increase in the number of elderly customers. Many of them were buying products to help them communicate with loved ones.
