Football rivalry contest over for U.P. schools

 

After two weeks and two rounds of voting, the journey for the Marquette, Negaunee High School Football Rivalry to be named the best high school football rivalry” in the country is now over.

The contest, which is being put on by USA Today, has four total teams in the finals.

The Miners and Redmen rivalry finished in 5th place in the Midwest Region Voting Bracket, with over 22,000 votes.

A high school football rivalry from Missouri- Brookfield and Marceline- won the Midwest Region Voting Bracket with over 200,000 votes.

The contest finals will run through next Wednesday.
