Negaunee Male Chorus prepares for concert

The Negaunee Male Chorus has been preparing for the annual Christmas concert since September.

The theme this year is “A Small Town Christmas”.  And, that seems to fit in well, since most of the members have come from small communities.

The group is in it’s 84th year.  One member has been singing with the Negaunee Male Chorus for more than a generation.  In fact, Bill Schrandt has been singing in the chorus for more than 30 years.

“A Small Town Christmas” will be performed on December 8th at 7 p.m. at the Negaunee High School auditorium.  Tickets are $10 and are available from any chorus member,
at the door, all Peninsula Bank locations, Jubilee Foods in Ishpeming, Ishpeming Credit Union, Super One Foods in Negaunee, and at Tourville West as well as Tourville North in Marquette.
