Cliffs Truck Accident
A man is in Marquette General Hospital tonight after a truck accident in between the Empire Mine pit and the Tilden Mine pit.
Cliffs officials say the accident happened on a hauling road between the two mine pits shortly before 6:30 tonight.
A Cliffs production truck hit a pickup truck on that road.
Company officials say the pickup truck driver is being treated at Marquette General for non–life–threatening injuries.
However, his condition is not being released.
Neither are the names of the two drivers.
Cliffs is still investigating the accident.
