Marquette Home Invasion

On October 24th at approximately 8:45 PM, Officers were dispatched to 229 W. Ohio Street on the report of several male subjects forcing their way into a home, assaulting a resident and stealing property before fleeing the area.

Upon interviewing the male and female victims, Officers learned that while they were watching television, three individuals dressed in black with black bandanas over their faces entered their home.

The individuals then forced the couple to stay on the couch while they searched the home. The male victim was pushed back onto the couch several times and punched during the incident.

The male subjects ended up leaving the scene after a few minutes, possibly fleeing in a red vehicle. No significant injuries were reported by the victims. A small safe was stolen during the invasion.

The suspects are described as all wearing black with black bandanas over their faces and hoods up over their heads. The victims described them as dark-skinned, possibly Hispanic or Native American.

The Native American suspect was tall with a long pony-tail hanging down his back. The other two suspects were described as one being as tall as the first suspect, and the other being shorter.

Anyone having information regarding this incident is asked to call the Marquette Police Department at (906) 228-0400.
