Delta Co. hit & run incident reported
No one was injured, but police are looking for the man involved in a hit and run incident. The case is being investigated by Gladstone Public Safety. It happened on the South 9th St. alley south of Delta Avenue behind Main Street Pizza Sunday at about 5:40 p.m..
Police say a 78–year old Gladstone woman was traveling south on 9th when a tan or pewter colored Chevy Blazer 4–door hit her vehicle. The driver of the Chevy blazer backed up and took off towards S. 8th St.
Police say the Blazer should have damage to its front end. The male driver was said to have a mustache and was wearing a leather style biker type hat.
