United Steelworkers Meet-and-Greet
As Election Day gets closer, the number of candidate forums, advertising messages and rallies increase.
At a United Steelworkers union meet-and-greet this afternoon in Negaunee, all eyes were focused on november 6th.
Kathy Carlson of Michigan AFSCME Council 25 says the rally focused on the discussion of Proposals 1, 2, 3 and 4.
John Kivela, running for the 109th District State Representative seat; Scott Dianda, running for the 110th seat; and Congressional candidate Gary McDowell all attended the meet-and-greet.
Carlson says the candidates were explaining their views on various issues to members of the steelworkers’ union, AFSCME and the building trades.
