Michigan's ecomonic plan
Business leaders from the central U.P. and business students from Northern Michigan University heard more about the state of Michigan’s economy and business plans.
The CEO of the Business Leaders of Michigan Doug Rothwell explained the organization’s new strategy to make Michigan a “top ten” state. That goal is for job, economic and personal income growth. They call it Michigan’s Turnaround Plan.
Rothwell says the “Turnaround Plan” is important to keep the current jobs in the state, and to bring additional employment opportunities to michigan, and especially Upper Michigan.
