Grand Raffle set for Calumet Theater improvements
A fundraiser is underway to help with repairs to a historic venue in the Copper Country. The Calumet Theater is giving people another chance to win up to $20,000.
Last year…they brought you the Grand Raffle which raised much needed money for improvements to the Calumet Theater. It was such a success that the Theater has brought the Grand Raffle back.
And the need to raise money for more improvements is as strong as ever. Those projects include refurbishing the front doors of the theater and the display window, upgrading the restroom facilities, replacing broken marble steps and installing a new security system.
Tickets are limited and the drawing is getting near—the winners will be selected during a special movie presentation on November 2nd. A total of $34,000 in prizes will be awarded.
