The Duck Lake wildfire affected many property owners in Luce County back in may.
But the sign–up period for some financial help is about to run out.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture has something called the Emergency Forest Restoration Program.
It provides cash assistance to eligible owners of non–industrial private forest land damaged by a natural disaster.
The sign–up period for anyone affected by the Duck Lake fire ends next Tuesday.
