Kingsford Marijuana Case Court Date

A Kingsford man has to return to court in Dickinson County next month on drug charges.

38–year–old Timothy Hubbard has a pre–trial conference scheduled for November 5th.

He had his Circuit Court arraignment this morning.

Hubbard is facing two drug charges — marijuana delivery or manufacture, a felony carrying a possible seven-year sentence or a $500,000 fine, and maintaining a drug house, a misdemeanor with a possible two-year prison term or a $25,000 fine.

Hubbard and 21–year–old David Weaver, Jr. of Kingsford were arrested on September 10th.

Kingsford Public Safety got a tip about a drug operation at their home on Breitung Avenue.

Police say they seized several marijuana plants, hydroponic growing equipment and other drug paraphernalia.

Weaver is facing the same charges as Hubbard.

His Circuit Court arraignment is on October 15th.

The two men are both in the Dickinson County Jail on $100,000 bond.
