Kingsford Marijuana Preliminary Exam

Two Kingsford men have to return to court in Dickinson County in October on drug charges.

38–year–old Timothy Hubbard has a Circuit Court arraignment scheduled for next Monday, October 1st.

21–year–old David Weaver, Jr. will appear for his Circuit Court arraignment on October 15th.

They had their preliminary exam in District Court today and a judge bound them over, meaning the judge believed there was enough evidence against them for them to go to trial.

Hubbard and Weaver were arrested on September 10th after police got a tip about a drug operation at their home on Breitung Avenue in Kingsford.

Kingsford Public Safety says several marijuana plants were seized, along with hydroponic growing equipment and other drug paraphernalia.

Hubbard and Weaver are each facing two charges, marijuana delivery or manufacture and maintaining a drug house.

They’re both being held in the Dickinson County Jail on $100,000 bond.
