M-35 lane closure next week at Big Cedar River bridge

A two week long project will get underway Monday in Menominee County near Cedar River.

The Michigan Department of Transportation will start work at 9:30 a.m. September 24 to make repairs to the M-35 bridge over the Big Cedar River.    The project will require closing the southbound lane over the bridge, with traffic controlled by temporary traffic signals. The closure will be in two parts: Sept. 24-27 and Oct. 1-8. No width restrictions will be required.

The work is scheduled to be completed by noon on Monday, October 8.
