Bessemer Murder Prelim Exam
A Bessemer man appeared in Gogebic County District Court today for his preliminary exam on charges that he murdered his elderly wife.
50–year–old Kenneth Wayne Peters is accused of killing his wife, 79–year–old Ethel Grzena–Peters.
Ethel went missing in early August and her body was found about ten days later.
Police arrested Kenneth Peters on August 22nd.
He’s charged with three felonies — first-degree murder, second-degree murder and second–degree vulnerable adult abuse.
Peters is being held in the Gogebic County Jail without bond.
