Teen Driving Program
Driving is a function of adulthood that can always use some guidance. But this weekend, the spotlight is on new teenage drivers.
State Farm Insurance has teamed up with safety advocates and law enforcement on a national event called “Celebrate My Drive.”
Saturday, special sessions are being held in ten Michigan communities, including Marquette. The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department will also be attending the event to talk about a new program.
“Sheriff’s elling Our Parents” or S.T.O.P, is a program that will notify parents when their teen driver has been pulled over. Celebrate my drive takes place at the westwood mall in marquette township. It is free and open to teen drivers, 14 and over.
