Road construction in Delta County
M–Dot wants anyone driving through Delta County to know about a lane closure that will slow down traffic.
It’s on U.S.–2 and 41 between Escanaba and Gladstone, and the closure takes effect Wednesday morning.
The outside lane on the northbound and eastbound side will be closed. The Delta County Road Commission can cut trees along the east side of the roadway.
And the lane closure will allow them to do it. The lane will be closed from 8 am until 2:30 pm every day until the tree cutting is completed.
M–Dot estimates it should wrap up on Friday of next week.
