About 20% voter turnout in August Primary

 

Voter turnout across the state was as Secretary of State Ruth Johnson predicted: at about 20 percent.  Nearly 1.5 million of the state’s registered 7.3 million voters cast ballots in the August 7th Michigan Primary.  In the U.P., county by county voter turnout is posted below.
