Empty Bowl Fundraiser
The hope is that one day there will be no more empty bowls.
The Empty Bowls Fundraiser to battle hunger held today at the Kangas Café in the Jutila Center in Hancock.
It’s one of several fundraisers that feature the bowls decorated by local artists.
For a donation of just ten dollars…you got your choice of soup and a side of bread.
When you’ve finished…the bowl is yours to keep.
The proceeds will be donated to the CLK Food Pantry, the Community Action Food Pantry, and Saint Vincent de Paul’s in Hancock and L’Anse.
