Michigan Primary Election tomorrow

Primary Elections are tomorrow and a number of state and local offices will hinge on the outcome.

The Republican challenger to incumbent Democrat Senator Debbie Stabenow will be selected from Clark Durant, Gary Glenn, Randy Hekman, and Pete Hoekstra.

Our 1st District Representative in the U.S. Congress will be decided in November for neither incumbent Dan Benishek nor his Democrat challenger Gary McDowell is facing any primary opposition.

Republican Matt Huuki will find out who he will be running against for the 110th District in the State House of Representatives after voters choose between Democrats Scott Dianda of Calumet and Will Lucius of Ironwood.

In the 109th District State Representative, Republicans Jim Hafeman and Jack Hubbard will square off, as will Democrats Tony Retaskie and John Kivela, to land the current seat of term-limited State Rep. Steve Lindberg.
