Accident Closes US-41
10:38 a.m. More than an hour after what appears to be a fatal accident on US 41 East in Marquette County, that section of roadway is closed to traffic. Police closed US 41 East in Negaunee Township near M-35 shortly after an accident involving motorcycle and a semi happened just after 9 a.m.
Traffic is being sent on a detour south on M-35 to County Road 492. Authorities expect the accident scene to be cleared, and US 41 re-opened, after 11 a.m.
