Ride Lake Superior for motorcyclists
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held today to celebrate the dedication of a roadway just for motorcyclists.
The Keweenaw Peninsula is now part of Ride Lake Superior – a specific route that caters to the needs of bikers. The idea espcially appeals to riders following touring routes through Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, and Ontario, Canada.
Along the route, riders will find motorcycle friendly people and businesses.
A new website…RideLakeSuperior.com…is now available with information on the route. Maps can be picked up at the Keweenaw Convention and Visitor’s Bureau in Calumet.
