B & E suspect arrested in Houghton County
Police are investigating two Houghton County break-ins, and already have a suspect in custody.
The one suspect is believed to be responsible for two break-ins overnight in Lake Linden.
The Houghton County Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to a possible breaking and entering in progress at Morty’s Gas Station on M-26.
The Loading Zone across the street in Lake Linden was also broken into.
The break-ins occurred around 4:30 a.m. Friday.
A lone male suspect was arrested and is currently lodged in the Houghton County Jail.
The name of the suspect is being withheld pending his arraignment in 97th District Court on Monday.
