Driver Charged in Ishpeming Pedestrian Accident
An Ely Township man has been charged in an accident that left a Marquette County woman in critical condition.
50-year-old Richard Charles Jordan has been charged with operating with a suspended, revoked or denied license causing serious injury.
Ishpeming police say Jordan hit 64-year-old Linda Marie Vanginkel of National Mine around noon yesterday.
It happened on Third Street in Ishpeming near the U.S. National Ski Hall of Fame.
Vanginkel is in critical condition at Marquette General Hospital.
Jordan was arraigned on the five year felony charge today.
he is in the Marquette County Jail on $100,000 cash bond.
