Pediatric Cardiology Clinics

For the past four months, Upper Peninsula children with congenital heart disease have been forced to travel outside of the U.P. to see a pediatric cardiologist for their care.
But thanks to Marquette General Hospital and the University of Michigan C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital, that’s no longer the case.
The Specialty Clinic at MGH has been able to arrange for two–day clinics over the coming months.
Specialty Clinic manager Elaine Taylor says pediatric cardiologists from Mott Children’s Hospital will be in Marquette to help fill the void created when MGH’s only cardiologist for children left earlier this year.
Three pediatrics cardiologists will be rotating through the coming months.
If you’d like to schedule an appointment for your child, you can call the Specialty Clinic at 225-4777.
The upcoming dates are August 14th and 15th, September 5th and 6th, October 16th and 17th, November 19th and 20th and December 17th and 18th.
