MGH Nuses Union reacts to sale of hospital

The nurses union at Marquette General released a statement this evening about the continued move toward the transfer of the hospital.

Registered Nurse Carolyn Hietamaki says “The nurses look forward to partnering with Duke LifePoint to expand affordable, high–quality health care in the region. we are pleased that Duke LifePoint has agreed to honor our collective bargaining agreement. We expect the hospital’s new owners to also honor their obligation to put patient care first at all times, as our nurses do every day.”
