Jewelry owner ID'd

The Marquette County Sheriff’s Department says the owner of a valuable piece of jewelry has been identified, through Facebook.

Earlier today, Marquette County news organizations published stories about the found jewelry and the attempts to return it to its’ owner.

Police say, through social media, the owner of the item learned it had been turned in. She expressed her appreciation to all those who helped bring about a happy ending to the situation.
