AAUP Still Has Concerns

After a year of negotiations with the board of trustees at NMU, the UAW local union chapters and the AAUP on campus appear to still be unhappy.
They are asking the board to start investing in their employees.

The local UAW 19–50 chapter says they are pleased with changes that have been made at the bargaining table.
However, they still have concerns about a few underlying issue.

The UAW 21–78 unit on campus would like to see the employee compensation plans adjusted.

These groups thanked the board for their extreme fiscal conservatism.
But, they do not think the boards financial models consider employee satisfaction with reasonable compensation increases.
