Getting Grounded For Alzheimer's

An Upper Peninsula bank is getting grounded in the fight against Alzheimer’s disease.
And it’s encouraging customers to do the same.
mBank is running a donation drive for the U.P. regional chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.
Bank officials are inviting customers to make a donation when they come into the McClellan Avenue branch and receive some coffee and snacks.
The Alzheimer’s Association sent a huge inflatable coffee mug to the bank, and it’s right outside the door.
The mug travels the country — it came to the U.P. from Tennessee and will go out of state once again when the donation drive ends.
All the funds raised will remain in the U.P.
The McClellan mBank branch is taking donations through the end of next week.
