News Director Turned Golfer

There are a lot of tired golfers in Marquette this evening after a day playing a fundraising event for Marquette’s Beacon House.

Among the golfers, ABC Ten News Director, Cynthia Thompson. Our own “local celebrity” and her team played the Heritage course. Mary Bentlage set the standards and continued Cynthia’s coaching.

Cheryl Jackson and Amy McGinnis rounded out the team.
The game was played as a best–ball scramble.

Cynthia wouldn’t say what their final score was, but did say it was a healthy strong number!

The team had a great time and plenty of laughs…and even saw a bald eagle fly over.
