Circus Coming to Town
The circus that will visit Ishpeming on the 4th of July sent in the clowns to Marquette County today.
Or just one clown, at least!
Skeeter is an advance clown for the Culpepper and Merriweather circus.
About a week before it arrives in a town, she goes there to promote the shows.
Anyone can also go to Al Quaal in Ishpeming on the morning of the 4th for free to watch the big top get set up.
Ishpeming fit nicely into a hole on the circus’s schedule.
The Ishpeming shows are at Al Quaal at 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the 4th.
Advance tickets are $6.00 for kids 2 to 12 years old, and $9.00 each for anyone 13 and up.
