Tombstone Detectives with Mqt. Regional History Center

This afternoon, the Marquette Regional History Center made history come alive in a cemetery.
The group offered kids the chance to be tombstone detectives.
They learned about historic figures from Marquette’s past through stories told in the first person by museum staff and volunteers dressed in character.
The historic figures included former world champion pro wrestler Gus Sonnenberg and nature photographer george Shiras.
