Beautification Committee starts Big Project

The Negaunee Beautification Committee started work on one of their biggest projects of the year.

Tonight the group worked on sprucing up the flower beds at the Pocket Park on Iron Street in dDwntown Negaunee. They also gave new life to decorative iron ore cars that will be placed along the city streets for a special event Thursday evening.

The Negaunee Beautification Committee is a non-profit group. Anyone interested can join, even if you don’t have a green thumb. For more information contact Anna Mattson at 906–362–8160.
