Marquette Stabbing Follow-Up

The Marquette City Police have arrested two people following an overnight stabbing.
The attack happened just before 1:30 this morning on the 500 block of Wright Street.
The original police call was to respond to a woman screaming.
Marquette Police Det. Capt. Gordon Warchock says that officers learned about the stabbing on the way to the scene.
He says the officers interviewed the 19-year-old man who had been stabbed, as well as two witnesses.
Warchock says the two arrested suspects were both known to the victim and are both being held in the Marquette County Jail.

The victim was taken to Marquette General for treatment, and police say he should be released soon.
The case will be brought before the Marquette County Prosecutor’s office tomorrow.
