The Great Lakes Rodeo kicks off tonight and runs through Sunday afternoon.
But before the cowboys can hop on the saddle, there are some finishing touches to be made first.
The final setup is underway at the Marquette County Fairgrounds.
Crews of helpers, venders, participants and animals are getting set to put on a great show.
Great Lakes Rodeo president Jesie Melchiori says one of the best parts of the rodeo is that you don’t have to be a professional cowboy to compete — the rodeo offers many amateur events.
The events kick off tomorrow at 11 am with team penning.
The first rodeo show starts at 6 pm.
