Mayor to Ride a Bull
The Great Lakes Rodeo kicks off this weekend at the Marquette County fair grounds.
Along with all the normal shows and performances, this years rodeo will feature a very special celebrity bull rider.
Marquette Mayor John Kivela will be making his rodeo debut Saturday night.
And although he is a little unsure of how the event will go the mayor knows that the event is for a good cause.
The rodeo on Saturday kicks off at 6P.M.
A barn dance will follow, starting at 9, featuring the band trailer hitch.
