Gas Station Credit & Debit Card Glitch

If you were seeing double when you looked at your online banking transactions after visiting a Marquette County gas station and convenience store recently, there’s an easy explanation.
It was a computer glitch.
An Ishpeming man contacted ABC 10 after seeing his $25 gas receipt from the Negaunee Holiday Station Store debited twice from his bank account.
The company was quick to respond to our inquiries.
Holiday spokesman Robert Nye says Visa and MasterCard credit and debit transactions made on June 7th were mistakenly processed a second time on June 9th.
The company worked with US Bank to identify a software problem which created the double billing.
Customers were reimbursed electronically on Monday.
