Central American Youth Ambassadors

For the next several days, Northern Michigan University and the city of Marquette will be playing host to a special group of ambassadors.
A group of young people from Central America will spend the next week getting a first-hand look at different businesses throughout the city.
Miriam Moeller of NMU’s International Programs Office and Roxana Siguenza, visiting from El Salvador, both hope the kids will be able to take what they learn here home with them.
The group will spend the remainder of the week traveling to different businesses and will spend a day experiencing some of the many activities the U.P. has to offer.
